the Yankee candle debate

so I worked at the mall on Black Friday for my parents company..getting up at 3am was quite the adventure.. who are these crazy people who are waiting at the doors to the mall at 5am? anyway I'm at this booth with my mom and of course it has to be right outside of the Yankee Candle store.. I am obsesssedd with Yankee Candle, like completely obsessed but they're soo expensive that it's actually a seriously hard decision what to buy when I go in there.. so of course it takes me multiple trips into the store to decide which candles to buy, because for $25 a candle I am not choosing the wrong one. It came down to:

Midsummer's Night
Cranberry Chutney
Blueberry Scone
Christmas Cookie
Christmas Eve
Christmas Wish
Beach Walk
Evening Air
Balsam & Cedar
Cinnamon Stick
Festival of Lights
Home Sweet Home
Hollyberry

Ya see what I mean? Granted, 5 candles in they all start to smell the same. You don't know if you're smelling the candle anymore or just the air in the store, but for me the science behind choosing a candle is just, which one do I want to eat the most?

The answer: Blueberry Scone

But just for good measure I also got a Christmas Cookie, Evening Air, Beach Walk, Balsam & Cedar, Hollyberry and Cinnamon Stick.

Whew! I just spent every penny I made working at the booth that day, and therein lies the serious problem with working in a mall. Good thing that job is only seasonal.
