Midterms Week

Of course it's midterms and Josh is here, but it's been a piece of cake so far. We came back from Varese Sunday night. We did stop in Milan briefly so Josh could see it although I realized that I still don't like it there very much. We got back to Florence and had a reservation at Acqua al Due for dinner (another INCREDIBLE restaurant!) The balsamic filet there is to die for and they have sampler platters on the menu for pasta, salad and dessert so we got it all. Everything was delicious! Yesterday Josh and I climbed the Duomo and got sandwiches at The Oil Shoppe which has the best sandwiches in Florence (although I know people argue it's Antico, I say Oil Shoppe.) I got prosciutto and salami on a baguette with truffle sauce, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato and olives, SO GOOD! I had two exams today so we didn't do much but relax around town. Josh went for a long run and then hung out at my apartment for the day on the terrace because it was about 75 and sunny :) Tomorrow we're going to Pisa and it's Josh's last day here, sad.. and tonight we're going to ZaZa for dinner, I haven't been but I hear it's good!
