It was Valentines Day today. I sent Josh an e-card and he sent me one. I also left him a card hidden in my drawer at the apartment before I came over to Italy but I wouldn't let him
open it until now. I don't like being apart on Valentines Day! Allie and I went to an amazing cafe called Rivoire for hot chocolate. It was really rich, but I got a great fruit salad with it so it was perfect. We had plans to go to dinner tonight so we went shopping for cute outfits. I got a cute pink bubble skirt. We went to a restaurant called Osteria del Bricco, on the other side of the Arno, with a big group. The place was awesome and such authentic Tuscan style. We all split a few antipasto platters and I got penne with a mushroom cream sauce and prosciutto for dinner. After dinner we went back across the river to Twice, where we drank champagne all nigh
t to celebrate! At the end of the night we all headed out to find "The Secret Bakery." It's right by where we live but we would've never found it on our own. There are no lights on outside, no sign, and everyone inside whispers because technically it's the bakery that supplies the city with things to sell during business hours and it's not supposed to sell to the public, but they do, as long as you whisper. Thank god. We all got mini pizzas fresh out of the oven, and walked home eating them.
