Daydreaming at the Boboli Gardens

Feb. 15, 2009

Today Cat, Allie, Tiana and I woke up around noon and got it together in time to go see the Boboli Gardens. We walked across town and saw everyone headed into the Duomo for mass which was cool. We decided we might go sometime. The gardens were really pretty and HUGE. They're at the back of the Pitti Palace and go up and up and uphill, so we got a workout in, woohoo!! The place is full of statues and fountains and the views over Florence are gorgeous. All I could imagine was some fancy Victorian-era family of children running around, playing hide and seek in the garden, although the palace is much older than that.
